APPEARANCE

Build:
Celsus is more of a speedy type than a strong one. He can run extremely fast, but only for short bursts. He does not have much endurance when running above a jog. He has long legs and is extremely thin.

Key Features:
Celsus has a long, arching neck, which comes from being part Pharaoh Hound. That said, his markings resemble a ludehund's; the rare breed that makes up the other half of his genealogy. He also has the strange, "six toes," of the ludehund (not shown in the reference). His hair is extremely short, but his tail has a bt more fur on it. It also tends to curl slightly. He has a thin white strip that runs from just above his eyes to the back of his head near where the darker markings in. However, there is a point where the line disconnects towards the top of his head.

[Proud]
Celsus is extremely proud of his heritage, his parents both belonging to rare and well-respected breeds. While he doesn’t normally openly brag about this, his pride tends to show through his actions. While he is proud, it does not make him arrogant. Well, most of the time anyway.

[Cunning]
Celsus is extremely intelligent and cunning. While he is not one to look forwards to violence and war, he loves planning battle strategies, and they often give him a high advantage. He sees them as a challenge, and he loves challenges more than anything.

[Loyal]
Celsus values the individuals of the packs he looks over more than anything. (except the spirits of course) He would willingly do anything possible to guarantee their safety, even give up his own life. While he is an Oracle, who typically doesn't involve in fighting, he could never turn his back or abandon a dog from one of the packs, and he could take a secret to the grave if necessary.

[Strict]
Celsus can be very strict and snappy with others, especially when his disagrees with them. He has no problem crushing someone's feelings, though he doesn't do so lightly. Once you get to know him, he can be really friendly. However, more often then not, he speaks to others harsher than he means to, and can sometimes cause misunderstandings.

History:
_{Celsus remembers very little about his childhood, the happiest years of his life. He has only very vague memories of his milk mother, who nurtured him when he was small, gentle and caring. Even more than that, he remembers a dog he thinks to be his father, telling him fantasy stories of heroic battles and great kings. "One day, I'll be a king like in the stories," Celsus would tell his father every night. He doesn't remember either of his parents' names, though he thinks that they were both from the Opacre Grex.
It was shortly after this that the Spirits chose him to be the Head Oracle's successor. Everyone was shocked, for it was the first and only time in history that a male had been chosen for the role of Oracle or Shrine Healer, even on the pack level. However, the Spirits had spoken, and so it shalt be. He was taken away from his family and from then on, trained solely in healing and omen interpretation. He became exceptionally good at interpretation, and it seemed to the Shrine Healers who taught him that he had a special connection with the Spirits.

Despite this, however, young Celsus was still captivated by his father's stories of heroes and greatness. In secret, he trained himself in battle, inventing his own moves to compensate for the lack of teaching he had in this particular field. Because of this, Celsus has his own, unique fighting style, completely different from that of any other.}
